Description
Please take a look at the Larger Version below and the Color HDR Version! This was on board the LST 325 in Evansville, IN...here is a link to some more information:
LST 325
This jeep sat on the deck of the boat and offered a great look into the past. This WW2 ship participating in the D-day invasion as well as many other missions around the world.
This is an HDR IR shot, many people have been curious as to the importance of HDR while using infrared, but it is the same as any other shot. Infrared light doesn't use up the dark end of the luminosity as much but when using HDR it really brings out a lot of missing detail in all areas. In this shot in particular, it helped bring out detail in the dark colored jeep and such while maintaining exposure in the background on the ship's wheelhouse. In a shot with trees the HDR brings out a lot of the detail in the leaves and darker areas.
Thanks for all your comments/votes, I have been really busy lately so it's hard for me to get on here as often as I was back in June.

I don't know much about IR but...this doesn't look like IR to me. (Or to others based on the number of "bw" comments.) You've explained the choice of HDR but I wonder about the reason for choosing IR. Not really a crit because whatever this is it definitely works very well.
