Description

This shot of the same style as some of my more recent is of the Evansville Courthouse downtown. It is not used as a courthouse anymore, but more of a space for other businesses and such. This was the best possible angle of the courthouse to capture a part of the front and the side at once. I have another shot I will post next of the detail on the front of the building.

Taken with the Nikon D50 + hoya r72. This is another HDR+IR photo. Some people wonder why I choose IR still for b&w (duotone) shots, and that is because with infrared the cloud detail is much more dynamic for me. I have noticed when shooting in IR vs. color then converting to black and white (duotone) that it has much better, dramatic results. Also infrared has another take on things, such as in this photo where the trees/grass in front of the courthouse are white.

Enjoy, and check out the larger version! Thanks for all your comments/votes as always :)

Wow! Excellent. (I suggest sharpening just a tad more; and it looks like it's leaning to the right -- maybe it's just me.)
