So I got a D300 a few months ago, and now I am finally getting around to posting the images on here.

This is back in Kentucky, as I am living in Arizona now, taken a few days before I left.

Comments and Critiques are welcome and are always returned!

Oh and there are many (and better) photos to come, so, in the words of Samuel L Jackson, hold on to you butt!

Exposure is just spot on!

Maybe having the crop of the road begin just at the lower left corner.

Enjoy the mood the light has cast upon this setting, which adds to the whole photograph. Composition though divides ones attention slightly between the road/sun side and that of the stump. Another perspective may have worked better to reduce the roads impact upon this scene, perhaps from further to the right.

Excellent HDR. I love the composition a lot. Agree a bit about the over-sharpening, though. Nevertheless - wonderful image.

It's almost a bit weird to see that there is no shadows, like the cropped trees were some kind of vampires.

The image is very crispy, almost too crispy. By the way, what is that tiny red thing on the bottom right? (this is one from my series of irrelevant questions).
